Built with courage in Brussels. Just not blinded by it.

Press & Media Center

Let's work together.

Investigations that demand answers. Stories that change Europe.

EU Money Monitor is Europe’s first citizen-driven investigative platform exposing fraud, institutional opacity, and misuse of EU funds. We combine fearless reporting, verified evidence, whistleblower protection, and live accountability tracking.

We are pro-EU, but not pro-complacency. Our mission is to strengthen Europe by fixing what’s broken.

  • Transparency: we disclose our sources and methods as much as possible, without compromising confidentiality or safety.

  • Independence: our investigations are free from political, corporate, or external influence.

  • Embargo compliance: media partners must respect embargo dates and not publish information prematurely.

  • Attribution: all content must credit EU Money Monitor as the source.

  • Corrections: we promptly correct any errors brought to our attention.

Why we use embargoes:
To ensure responsible reporting, protect sensitive sources, and maximize the public impact of our investigations, EU Money Monitor provides select media partners with advance, embargoed access to major stories and supporting evidence.

How it works

  • Advance access:
Registered journalists and approved media outlets receive full reports, unredacted documentation, and visual assets before public release.

  • Embargo agreement:
By accepting embargoed materials, you agree not to publish, share, or reference the content before the official embargo lift date and time, which will be clearly communicated for each story.

  • Source credit:
All embargoed content must be credited as: “Source: EU Money Monitor (www.brussels-leaks.eu)

  • Right of reply:
We ask all partners to seek comment from named institutions or individuals before publication, in line with our editorial standards.

I built EU Money Monitor alone, but I know real change only happens together. If you believe journalism can still shake the system and rebuild trust in Europe, join me - let’s create the platform we’ve all been waiting for.
